[Xanxus is finally taking a certain someone's advice and wandering around parts of the ship that he's never been to before. The perpetual boredom and homesickness is going to drive him to insanity at this rate, so it's about time he found something else to do other than sleep and hang out in Sergei's on the rare occasions when he actually leaves his room.
First, he passes through the Bazaar on Deck 08, just looking at random merchandise and grabbing a snack before leaving. Then, he finds himself on the flower deck and spends some time there, just trying to figure out if there's anything else besides this incessant field of flowers. Xanxus notices the occasional tombstone and eventually the temple, spending some time in there before deciding that it's boring and leaving. He goes right to Deck 14 and is stuck in the maze for quite some time, eventually getting back to where he started and heading to Deck 15 and exploring the cave. When he finds the comfy chair, he sits in it and ends up falling asleep for a while. Once he's awake again, Xanxus goes to his final destination, Deck 20. No, he has no intention of racing; he's just going to look at the various vehicles and wonder what the fuck is up with the giant birds.
Feel free to run into him in any of these places~]

He completely bypasses the tombstones and there's a moment of relief when he spots the temple. Castiel hadn't even suspected there would be a place of worship on board.
He heads inside and stops short when he sees Xanxus.]
Hello.

He tilts his head to the side slightly. He hasn't ever really been brushed off like that.]
What is your name?
no subject
I don't speak English.
no subject
What language do you speak? I am capable of speaking many languages.

As I was saying, what is your name?
no subject
Xanxus.
no subject
Oh, yes, I met you when you were a child a few weeks ago. I am Castiel.
no subject
...Really now.
no subject
Yes. How have you been?

[That's pretty much a lie, but whatever. Xanxus breaks eye contact once more to take another look around the room, lapsing back into silence. He's not going to return the question because quite frankly, he couldn't care less about Castiel's well-being.]

[Castiel is kind of disappointed that Xanxus is even more difficult to talk to when he's fully-grown. Castiel heads to the front of the temple, running his fingers over the altar curiously.]

[Sadly, Xanxus's shyness as a kid has evolved into full-on antisocialness. And he's just very awkward with small talk.]

Castiel stares upwards for a few moments while he tries to figure out a way to better engage Xanxus in conversation.]
How long have you been here on the Elegante?

Has everything been well for you?
[Or rather, you haven't died, have you Xanxus?]
no subject
Depends on what your definition of "well" is.

[That makes Castiel pause for a moment.]
Well, you haven't run into trouble, or been killed?
