Canon point: Chapter 281
Age: 34
Species: Human
Appearance/PB: ×

Previous RP memories: Just the very few Splendor memories he has.
Bringing someone along?: Xanxus has a box weapon in the form of a white-furred, red-eyed male liger named Bester. His default appearance is a lion, but when Xanxus becomes enraged, his stripes appear. In lion form, Bester's roars can create shockwaves and paralyze his opponents for a few minutes, but in liger forms, the shockwaves that are formed are much more powerful, and opponents can also become petrified and will disintegrate shortly after.
Character History: ×

Personality:
One will find that Xanxus does not have many redeeming qualities, if he even has any at all. To start off, he is a cruel, cruel bastard. Xanxus doesn't care about anyone but himself; he has even said that the safety of his own subordinates doesn't matter to him. If they die, that just means that they've outlived their usefulness. He is completely incapable of feeling compassion, sympathy, or empathy for anyone; he usually finds the misery of others to be quite amusing. In addition to being heartless, Xanxus also has a major superiority complex, truly believing that he is better than everyone and everything. There isn't a single person he considers to be on the same level as him. He addresses others in a spiteful, sometimes condescending manner and typically refers to everyone as "trash" or "scum." Xanxus does not have the broadest vocabulary out there, and he takes great pride in his strength, so it is very easy to assume that he's nothing more than a savage brute. However, Xanxus is actually quite intelligent; he's not a genius, but his intelligence is definitely above average. After all, it doesn't just take power, but also brains to be the leader of an elite assassination squad.

One of the most important things about Xanxus is that he is a very angry person. In fact, he is the very embodiment of wrath. Xanxus never forgives, and he never, ever forgets. His fury is so great that the very reason Squalo refused the position as Varia boss and gave it to Xanxus instead is because he admires Xanxus's wrath. However, he typically gets angry for very petty reasons, such as his meal not being cooked the way he wants it. The main way he expresses his anger is through violence, never hesitating to attack the source of his anger and break various objects in the process. When Xanxus gets truly angry though, for a not-so-petty reason, that's when all hell breaks loose. This is the anger that has won him the respect and fear of many, including Squalo.

When he's not so angry, however, Xanxus is very quiet. He rarely says a word to anyone unless it's absolutely necessary, or if he feels the need to harrass them. He is extremely anti-social and will usually give short responses; sometimes none at all. Xanxus also never gives personal details about himself beyond his name, and maybe his age if he has to. Therefore, he is a rather enigmatic man; the only person who knew about his whole past is Squalo, and the other characters didn't find out about it until Squalo was forced to tell them everything when the Vongola Rings rejected Xanxus due to him not really having Vongola blood in his veins.

Because Xanxus was spoiled throughout the last bit of his childhood and his teen years, he has become incredibly picky. He expects nothing but the nicest things, and if he doesn't get just those, he will throw a fit. Xanxus has also become very lazy due to being used to his subordinates doing everything for him, whether it be getting him food or cleaning up after him. He has taken quite a liking to sitting in his comfortable, velvet throne and is typically seen drinking some sort of alcoholic beverage, usually tequila or whiskey.

While Xanxus's relationship with the Vongola Family as a whole is a little shaky at best, he is still incredibly loyal to his family, and wants it to be the very best that it can be. Even though he still disapproves of Tsuna being the Tenth, he has given up actively trying to get him out of the picture and has resolved to just verbal disapproval rather than plotting to kill him. He treats Tsuna's guardians the same way. However, when an enemy family tries to mess with any of them, Xanxus won't object to sending help when it's absolutely necessary, a perfect example being when the Varia shows up to assist the Vongola during the final battle against the Millefiore. Because of his loyalty to the Vongola, Xanxus refuses to let his personal feelings get in the way of achieving victory against their enemies. He'll even listen to orders from the Ninth when he has to, and it's no secret that Xanxus despises the man for lying to him throughout his whole childhood about being his son. He still hasn't, and never will, forgive him for all that. After all, he would actually have to be related to the Ninth in order to be eligible to succeed him. Finding out that he was just the Ninth's adopted son crushed his hopes and dreams, and he places partial blame on his mother, as well. Xanxus used to love and trust both of them as much as he could, but ever since he found out the truth, he can never again see them in the same light as he did before.

When he was younger, Xanxus's number one goal in life was to take his rightful place as Vongola Decimo. Even now, he wants it more than anything, but after the incident during the Sky Battle, Xanxus learned that getting rid of Tsuna and gathering all the Vongola Rings is not enough to get him the position because he doesn't possess the blood of the Vongola. However, with the grave situation that the Vongola went through with the Millefiore, his number one focus was to defeat them once and for all. He temporarily left behind his ill feelings for Tsuna and his guardians and assisted them in the final battle, resulting in victory for the Vongola. Now that the Millefiore is no longer a threat, Xanxus just wants to ensure that nothing like that ever happens again. Although this has yet to be accomplished due to being drawn to Splendor, Xanxus had planned on recruiting more members for the Varia and making them train ten times as hard as they did before in order to make them even stronger and make up for all the losses they went through.

Extra:
Character Abilities:
Xanxus's greatest gift is his ungodly stamina, both physical and mental. In fact, his physical and mental stamina is inhuman, making him a very fearsome opponent in combat. Not only that, he has an extremely powerful intuition. Tricking and lying to Xanxus is almost impossible, and he can even see through illusions with no difficulty. Also, since childhood, Xanxus has been one of the only people to have full control of his Dying Will Flames. They're not just ordinary Dying Will Flames, either; they're Flames of Wrath, which is the most powerful and rarest type of flame. The only other person who's ever been born with the Flame of Wrath is the second Vongola boss. With this flame, he can create huge fireballs and shoot incredibly destructive blasts of fire at his enemies.
Possessions: Two X-Guns + ammo, box weapon, Varia Ring, and the clothes on his back.
Anything else: Nope, I think that's it~

[Well. After that trippy experience Xanxus just had thanks to The Music Box, he is now standing in the Golden Entranceway. And he looks quite unamused. There's no fucking way he could be that drunk right now; he hasn't even drank lately because of the stupid Millefiore battle.

Where the fuck is he? How did he get here? Where are his subordinates? So many things that Xanxus needs to know immediately. He really doesn't have time for this shit. Taking a moment to fiddle around with this stupid seal thing, Xanxus eventually manages to get the video function working. Now all of Splendor can see his wonderful lineface on their screens.]

Where the fuck am I.

[This isn't a question, this is a demand.]

"You expect me to eat this shit?"

"B-but I--"

BAM.

The underling was sent flying through the roof and into the horizon by a blow from one of Xanxus's guns. From behind his throne, a white lion creeped out of the shadows to sniff at the mess on the ground near his master. White plate shards were mixed in with what used to be filet mignon, but had turned into a pile of burnt mush by the recipient of the dish. However, this didn't stop the beast from hungrily lapping up the meat, while being careful not to swallow any plate shards. Once the ground had been deprived of all food, the lion let out a satisfied growl and retreated in the shadows once more to lay down.

"I need real food," the raven-haired man said bitterly as the cooks scrambled out of the room to prepare a hopefully better meal for their incredibly picky boss. "And you," Xanxus growled, crimson eyes fixed on another underling who had just been standing there dumbly. "Clean this shit up." The timid man nodded rapidly and proceeded to sweep up the plate shards from the floor, fleeing once his job was done. Now having the room to himself again, the cruel boss leaned back in his chair and folded his arms across his torso, letting his eyelids drop. Sweet, sweet silence.

Unfortunately, the silence didn't last for long. Moments later, a loud, piercing voice came from the earpiece resting in one of Xanxus's ears. "VOOOIIII! Boss! Respond!" A voice like that would have scared the living daylights out of anyone, but when one has been forced to hear that voice on a daily basis for over ten years now, it really isn't so startling anymore. Eyes remaining closed, Xanxus promptly removed the earpiece and squeezed it between his thumb and index finger with a force strong enough to make it shatter. He was not in the mood to deal with his annoying "right-hand man" at the moment.

Silence again. This time, it would linger for much longer. As he sat there idly, Xanxus began to drift off into a light doze, which was not a terribly uncommon thing for him to do. His furry companion was doing the same exact thing, in a state of bliss due to the quiet atmosphere and a satisfied stomach. The person unfortunate enough to walk in on this, and lacked either a plate of food or an alcoholic beverage, would be shot on sight.
